You did wonderful my faithful student by RhythmGeneration You did wonderful my faithful student by RhythmGeneration
A tender moment between Celestia and Twilight Sparkle either before or after her coronation. I've had the sketch of this sitting around for a while, I've finally just finished it today after around 5 hours of work.

I don't care if you hate Alicorn Twilight, keep your complaints away from my work please.

Would appreciate it if you would reblog from my tumblr instead of reposting: [link]

Hmm... I have to offer some probably-constructive criticism here. The composition of the picture doesn't quite feel right. Celestia and Twi are both in the general lower left, and the rest of the picture is essentially distant background. The two are supposed to be in the focus, yet feel shunted aside. The picture feels like it got cut off or cut out from some bigger picture.
If you want Celestia and Twilight to be in the lower left yet remain in focus and create a nicely composed picture while at it, expand the canvas. Draw their bodies in full, preferrably complete with manes and tails (particularly for Celestia, since she's the one with oversized hair). Then detail them extensively, just like you did here. After that, put some detail into the background (extra clouds or extended shift of colour, for example). It would feel much better that way.
Also, the signature here is really awkwardly placed. It is written right over parts of the main subjects of the picture. 's not good. Put it in the upper corner if it has to be this big, or shrink it. It would fit well in the bottom right corner on an expanded canvas.

That said, I really like their manes and Twi's tail and the wings here. They all feel soft and very pleasant. Love Celestia's expression here, too, you captured the essential Celestia feeling about her very well.

Someone's been taking my work and uploading it without my permission(if they would have asked I would have considered saying yes, but no they were brats and went ahead without asking how I felt about it). One person stopped when I told them to stop however I've started putting on the signatures as a precaution and none of my recent stuff has been taken. So the signature is staying where it's at because its position makes it obvious when someone has attempted to remove it or cropped it out, never understand why people bother putting watermarks in areas that make them incredibly easy to remove like off in a corner or in an area with solid color. It makes me shake my head, its like they tried but couldn't be bothered to really protect their work; on that note if I weren't so lazy I would have included hidden watermarks as well... I should stop being lazy and do that again.

As for the rest of it, I have a habit of always centering my subjects and don't really try any off centered compositions which is why I set the picture up the way I did instead of expanding on my original sketch (which actually was to the left side like that on a canvas with a bunch of other alicorn twilight doodles, only changes made were I altered twilight to have her face hidden and changed the angle of celestia's head). I also kind of wanted to show off the background more I am really proud of it, the first sky I've painted that I feel looks good even if it was inspired by this beautiful photo right here [link]

Meh, sorry to hear that. It's certainly annoying. Thankfully, my artistic skill is insufficient to warrant stealing anything from me, but I understand how it feels.
Indeed, hidden watermarks would probably do a better trick.
Still think that making the canvas bigger and drawing their bodies in full would do better, but it's good as is and I wasn't demanding anything. By "making it bigger", I mean "expanding it on every side evenly". It'd make the background take up even more space than it does, but the foreground with Celestia and Twi would still remain very visible and detailed. It'd also give you the opportunity to put more detail into the sky. It's good, yes, but due to the small size of the picture it feels small too.
Just my opinion, really. And once more, I do like the picture.
